U.S. Sens. Ed Markey, D-Mass., and Bill Cassidy, R-La., announced a fresh group of bipartisan senators signed on to co-sponsor the proposed Children and Teens’ Online Privacy Protection Act. The bill was updated following conversations with stakeholders and technical corrections. Now co-sponsoring the bill are Senate Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee Chair Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., and Ranking Member Ted Cruz, R-Texas.
