An investigation into WhatsApp's 2021 privacy notice may proceed in the Delhi High Court after the Competition Commission of India found the notice is still active, Business Standard reports. The inquiry was placed on hold after WhatsApp and Facebook challenged the probe in March 2021, arguing it should be dismissed because the matter was already being challenged in a high court and Supreme Court. The CCI determined the scope of the two inquiries were separate and ordered the inquiry to advance.
