Europe’s digital agenda is a priority for trade policy, the European Commission said in a review outlining a new strategy for the next 10 years. The Commission calls on the World Trade Organization to set rules for digital trade and says the EU should play “a central role.” The Commission also states it will create a European analytical framework "to better assess the size and value of cross-border data flows."
