The “Designed With Kids in Mind” coalition launched a campaign to implement design codes in the U.S. to protect children online, Media Post reports. Modeled after the U.K.’s Children’s Code, the initiative calls for legislation and new Federal Trade Commission rules. The group is promoting three proposed bills: the Children and Teens’ Online Privacy Protection Act, the Kids Internet Design and Safety Act, and the Protecting the Information of our Vulnerable Children and Youth Act.
