France's data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés, published joint opinions with European Data Protection Board members on the EU Data Act. The regulator outlined its key requirements for both regulations, including aligning relevant provisions with EU General Data Protection Regulation, ensuring safeguards for EU citizens' rights and more. The comments come after DPAs were invited to do so by the European Commission.
