France's data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés, discussed the outcomes of its first "compliance club" meeting dedicated to connected vehicles. The CNIL said the inaugural meeting was an "opportunity to identify the main questions" on the minds of concerned stakeholders. The club's first objective will be to help produce practical and operational recommendations for the use of geolocation data in the context of connected vehicles.
