France's data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés, announced submissions for the CNIL-Inria Privacy Award are now open. The award is given to a research paper that raises awareness on privacy and data protection issues. Submissions must be research conducted within the European Union and "address the improvement of the protection of personal data, (artificial intelligence) transparency, or privacy."
