The China Advertising Association is building a system to bypass Apple's new advertising-tracking rules and continue serving targeted ads without iPhone users' consent, the Financial Times reports. Members of the group, specifically ByteDance and Tencent, have been testing the CAID scheme in recent months, and a public release of the solution could come in a matter of weeks. CAA claimed the scheme "does not stand in opposition to Apple’s privacy policy," noting it has been in communication with Apple regarding its plans.
