The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada announced a new online privacy impact assessment form. The new PIA submission form, accessible on the OPC's website, offers "a simple, secure means" for federal institutions to fulfill assessment requirements. The OPC indicated the PIA process, in general, "strengthens privacy, supports the public interest, and generates trust."
