Reuters reports Canada banned Chinese messaging app WeChat and Russian antivirus program Kaspersky on all government-issued devices over security concerns. The Treasury Board of Canada explained the decision was made after Canada's chief information officer found the apps "present an unacceptable level of risk to privacy and security."
