Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau announced a CAD2.4 billion investment in the country's artificial intelligence infrastructure, including computing power and aiding AI startups. The package also includes a research arm dedicated to the safe development of AI and aiding those whose work might be disrupted by the technology.
