California Attorney General Rob Bonta asked the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals to reject an injunction meant to keep the California Age-Appropriate Design Code Act from going into effect. A federal court granted a preliminary injunction against the law in September by an online trade association with members that will be required to take steps to protect young users' data and digital presence under the law.
