Quebec's data protection authority, the Commission d'accès a l'information du Québec, released its 2023-2027 Strategic Plan. The report states the CAI will devote resources to ensure public bodies adhere to disclosure requirements and improve the protection of personal information. Additionally, the CAI will look to streamline the appeal process for sanction decisions and expand its human resources capacity.
