South Australia’s Department for Infrastructure and Transport said 2,601 accounts belonging to state services website mySA Gov were compromised in a cyberattack. Hackers accessed accounts by obtaining users passwords for an unrelated website that was the same or similar to their mySA Gov accounts. In a statement, the department reminded account holders to “always set complex passwords and do not use the same password for more than one account.”
