Brazil's data protection authority, the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados, and Nigeria's Data Protection Commission were admitted into the Global Privacy Assembly. The appointments were announced 20 Oct. during a closed session at the 45th Global Privacy Assembly in Bermuda. ANPD Coordinator Juliana Müller said the appointment and general GPA objectives will "unite the construction of sustainable, inclusive and innovative solutions in the field of data protection."
