An update to Bitcoin’s network improves privacy and security for complicated transactions, Engadget reports. The “Taproot” code upgrade, the first to Bitcoin’s network code since 2017, adds signatures that make transactions look like any other, preventing attackers from recognizing an unusual transfer.
