Opposition Members of Canadian Parliament are calling on the government to produce promised privacy and artificial intelligence amendments to Bill C-27, the Digital Charter Implementation Act, Channel Daily News reports. Lawmakers allowed the latest hearing on C-27 before the House of Commons Standing Committee on Innovation and Technology with the stipulation that the government present draft amendments by 20 Oct.
