Bermuda government officials and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Bermuda set an official date for when the Personal Information Protection Act will go into effect. All remaining provisions will go into effect 1 Jan. 2025. PrivCom will now provide organizations with an 18-month "phased action plan" to comply fully with the law.
