Argentina's Agency for Access to Public Information announced a public consultation in September aimed at amending the Personal Data Protection Act 25.326. The AAIP said it is seeking public comments to help the PDPA address "new challenges imposed by technological transformations and the development of the digital economy." The regulator also wants to ensure amendments create harmonization "with the highest regional and international standards."
