Bloomberg reports Apple Chief Privacy Officer Jane Horvath, CIPP/G, CIPP/US, is leaving the company to join law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Horvath's planned departure has yet to be made public, but an unnamed source at Apple indicated Horvath disclosed her intentions in an internal memo. She was promoted to CPO last year after previously serving as Apple's senior director of global privacy.
