Last year, Apple blocked 343,000 iOS mobile applications from the App Store due to privacy violations, Bleeping Computer reports. The removed apps were part of 1.6 million “risky or vulnerable” apps Apple blocked from being listed on the App Store in 2021. Other apps were removed after attempting to mislead or spam users. They used hidden or undocumented features or used “bait-and-switch” tactics, such as adding additional features after receiving approval from Apple.
