The Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project said one of its reporters was allegedly targeted in a government-backed spyware attack, where the NSO Group's Pegasus software apparently was used, Reuters reports. The reporter's iPhone alerted them to the attack but did not specify which government was behind the attempt. Apple alerted several people in India to other similar attempts.
