Brazil's data protection authority, the Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados, announced a public consultation for its 2023-2024 regulatory agenda. The regulator noted it is seeking submissions that "identify topics considered relevant by society for studies and/or regulation on the protection of personal data by the ANPD." The consultation also aims to lend further "publicity, predictability, transparency and efficiency" to ANPD enforcement processes. The public comment deadline is Aug. 31.
