Utah’s governor, attorney general and state auditor announced respective appointments to the newly created Personal Privacy Oversight Commission. The 12-member commission will develop standards and best practices for government privacy, recommend privacy standards for governmental entities, and review practices of the new Government Operations Privacy Officer and new State Privacy Officer. “This commission is positioned on the cutting edge of government privacy within state government,” State Auditor John Dougall said.
