A public consultation opened by the U.K. Information Commissioner’s Office seeking input on its updated draft guidance on anonymization, pseudonymization and privacy-enhancing technologies will end Sept. 16. The fourth chapter explores approaches to governance when anonymizing personal data, with guidance on legislation to consider when disclosing anonymous data. Additional draft chapters will continue to be released, and the ICO said input “can make a significant difference” as responses will be used to inform the guidance.
