Uber has filed a lawsuit against the city of Los Angeles over the Department of Transportation's request for real-time location data, CNET reports. The suit, which was originally set to be filed in October 2019, alleges LADOT's request for geolocation data from Uber's scooter program is not intended to help city transportation planning. "What it is good for is surveillance," Uber added.
