The IAPP-EY Governance Survey has been produced annually since 2015 and focuses on providing information to our members regarding to the organizational structure, roles and responsibilities for managing the collection, use, retention, disclosure and disposal of personal information.

This year, we are doing things differently and will delve deeper into the privacy governance aspects of the privacy profession, focusing on delivering insights that matter most to our members.

We have gathered feedback from members over the last few months on how we can make the survey more insightful. Leveraging this feedback, we made the IAPP-EY 2022 Governance Survey much easier and faster to complete. Now focusing on key areas of privacy governance that matter most to our members, we restructured the questions to enable the survey to be completed quickly and efficiently in just 10 to 15 minutes from any device (i.e., mobile, PC, tablet, etc.). To provide greater flexibility, we have also added functionality prolonging the survey timeout period, allowing members to complete the survey in sections if needed, so long as the survey is accessed from the same device.

We want to get a high portion of the membership to complete the survey this year, and the more members who participate, the greater our ability to provide real insight back.

The IAPP will be sending out a request to our members to complete the survey over the next few weeks and we would appreciate you spending a few minutes of your time to help us help you!
