Shannon Yavorsky

Shannon Yavorsky has joined Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe as a partner in its San Francisco office. Yavorsky has experience in privacy and data protection matters in the U.S. and EU, previously working for law firms Venable, Kirkland & Ellis and Squire Patton Boggs. Her privacy work has focused on the health care, tech, advertising and automotive industries. "She is well-positioned to provide innovative solutions to address (California Consumer Privacy Act) issues ... as well as new regulations expected to emerge in other states, while also providing invaluable insights into (the EU General Data Protection Regulation's) far-reaching impact on the companies we represent," Orrick Cybersecurity & Privacy Advisory Practice Co-Chair Heather Sussman, CIPP/US, said.
