From January to May of this year, the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Czech Republic received more than 100 reported data breaches, primarily in the areas of finance, health care and public administration. Phishing attacks on computer systems were the most frequent reports, with a “significant” number of breaches caused by “insufficient education and training.” The office assessed the way incidents were resolved and considered them “sufficient without the need to exercise supervisory powers.” (Original post is in Czech.)
