OPC releases complementary guidance on children's privacy

The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada published two guidance notes to support its recent joint resolution with provincial privacy authorities to improve children's privacy standards. One guide focuses on consideration for the "best interests of young people" in data processing activities while the second guide offers recommendations to organizations on best practices for protecting children.
