CBC News reports the Legislative Assembly of Nunavut's Standing Committee on Oversight of Government Operations and Public Accounts held hearings regarding government privacy and access to information practices. The hearings stem from the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Nunavut's Annual Report 2021-2022, which alleged government entities have insufficient and outdated access to information processes. Committee Chair George Hickes said before the hearings that he would like to explore "how they can improve the training, the management support and the resources that are given."
