Australia's Northern Territory government unintentionally shared sensitive health data belonging to thousands of individuals with a third-party global vendor, ABC News reports. NT Health, the Northern Territory government's health department, consolidated four systems into one using the government-backed Core Clinical Systems Renewal Program and vendor Intersystems in 2018-19. As many as 50,616 patients may have had their health data inappropriately accessed by Intersystems offices in China, Europe and South America.
