Reuters reports two consumer advocate groups filed a collective action against Google's data privacy practices and real-time bidding. The Netherlands' consumer association Consumentenbond and the Privacy Protection Foundation claimed Google carries out "constant surveillance and sharing of personal data through online advertising auctions." The groups said 82,000 consumers have joined the suit thus far.
