Mexico’s National Institute for Transparency, Access to Information and Personal Data Protection released its “Recommendations for the Processing of Personal Data” related to the use of artificial intelligence. The guidance promotes “the appropriate and ethical use of personal information through” various AI uses and “compliance with the obligations of the duty of security of personal data.” It touches on topics including AI in education, the public and private sectors, cloud computing and privacy by design.
