The Economic Times reports Indian Parliament is expected to table a Joint Parliamentary Committee's final report on the Personal Data Protection Bill and consider the proposed law Dec. 21 ahead of the end of its current legislative session Dec. 23. The report and subsequent bill consideration was expected at the start of Parliament's Winter Session, but the JPC was recently granted a final extension on the submission of its report in order to resolve discrepancies among committee members.
