The Oslo District Court will hear dating app Grindr's appeal of a NOK65 million fine imposed by Norway's data protection authority, Datatilsynet. Norway's Personal Protection Board upheld the fine in September 2023 before Grindr sued the DPA in October 2023. Datatilsynet alleged Grindr carried out improper disclosure of personal data to marketers.
