Google announced its Chrome browser will begin testing a feature to block third-party cookies and limit cross-site tracking 4 Jan. 2024, MediaPost reports. Chrome users will have the option to enable third-party cookies for 90 days if there are issues with its Tracking Protection initiative in the browser. The full cookie phaseout is planned for the second half of 2024.
