- A security breach exposed email addresses and customer numbers of more than 1.2 million of web hosting company GoDaddy’s WordPress users, TechRepublic reports. The company discovered unauthorized access by a third party to its Managed WordPress hosting environment Nov. 17. Some original WordPress Admin passwords were also exposed.
- A misconfigured Amazon Web Services S3 bucket exposed data of approximately 2.5 million individuals who connected to public Wi-Fi networks provided by clients of WSpot, a Brazilian Wi-Fi management software firm, ZDNet reports. Data included full names, email and physical addresses, as well as taxpayer registration numbers.
