Automated Intelligence, a company that says it is specializing in software designed to automatically enforce compliance with EU General Data Protection Regulation, has raised 1.5 million GBP in new funding, The Irish Times reports. The software aims to help organizations adapt to GDPR requirements as it enforces “appropriate governance across all content to reduce cost, as well as legal and reputational risk, while simultaneously improving organisational productivity.” Meanwhile, Fast Company reports that IBM has introduced what it calls a new anti-data-breach feature, pervasive encryption, as part of its newest line of mainframes developed this year. This protection is also aimed at keeping up with the growing requirements put forth by the impending GDPR.
