The Canadian Centre for Cyber Security is now opened, IT World Canada reports. The organization aims to educate both citizens and small- and medium-sized businesses on cybersecurity practices and for the private sector to test products they want to sell to the government and for commercial purposes. “Over time you’ll see us putting out our advice and guidance in a way that’s not specific to government any more, that’s much more accessible to Canadian industry and business that they can take advantage of,” the center’s head, Scott Jones, said.
