Draft cybersecurity and privacy rules proposed by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission would require public companies to disclose board members with security knowledge or experience, as well as its approach to cybersecurity, The Wall Street Journal reports. "The board issue is coming fast and furious onto the table around the world," Mayer Brown Partner, Cybersecurity and Data Privacy, Dominique Shelton Leipzig, CIPP/US, said of the rules, anticipated to be finalized in coming months.
