Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich filed a lawsuit against Google for privacy violations, The Washington Post reports. The suit alleges Google continued to gather location data even after users turned off digital trackers, which potentially violates state consumer protection laws on business practice misrepresentation. "We have always built privacy features into our products and provided robust controls for location data. We look forward to setting the record straight," Google Spokesman Jose Castaneda said.
