Amazon filed its appeal to the proposed 746 million euro EU General Data Protection Regulation fine handed down by the Luxembourg's National Commission for Data Protection in July, Bloomberg reports. The challenge was submitted to Luxembourg's Administrative Tribunal. While declining to comment on the appeal, Amazon referred back to a prior statement noting there was neither a data breach nor unlawful exposure of personal data to third parties to justify the penalty.
