Spain's data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, issued 8.15 million euros in EU General Data Protection Regulation fines to Vodafone related to various privacy complaints, Spain's News reports. The AEPD received 191 complaints regarding Vodafone's data-processing and consent practices. Four fines were issued in all, with the largest penalty coming in at 4 million euros.
