Genetic testing company 23andMe sent an email to several customers informing them a feature allowing them to compare ancestry information with other users was the target of a data breach, Reuters reports. Meanwhile, U.S. Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., asked 23andMe to provide details on how personal information from its site allegedly ended up on the dark web, Reuters also reports.
