Poland's data protection authority, the Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych, announced it is opening an investigation into OpenAI's artificial intelligence chatbot ChatGPT, TechCrunch reports. The announcement comes after a complaint alleging ChatGPT's operations violate multiple provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, such as processing "data in an unlawful and unreliable manner" and in a nontransparent way.
