The Philippines' National Privacy Commission seeks amendments to enhance the Data Privacy Act, PhilStar.com reports. Privacy Commissioner Raymund Liboro said the Data Privacy Act must be amended to ensure the Philippines keeps up with an ever-changing environment. Liboro added the House of Representatives approved a substitute bill to amend the DPA to give the commission enhanced powers.
