Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher Partner Jane Horvath, CIPP/G, CIPP/US, and Red Branch Consulting Principal Paul Rosenzweig were appointed by U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland to serve as special advocates for the Data Protection Review Court. Horvath currently co-chairs Gibson Dunn's Privacy, Cybersecurity, and Data Innovation Practice Group, and previously worked at Apple as chief privacy officer. Special advocates ensure the "DPRC panel selected to consider an application for review is well informed of the issues and the law with respect to the matter."
