A data breach that began on Oct. 15, 2021, may have exposed personal information of more than 1.3 million patients and staff members of the Broward Health hospital system in Florida, ZDNet reports. The organization said names, addresses, phone numbers, Social Security numbers, bank account and medical history data, and more, were compromised. Broward Health said its network was improperly accessed through “the office of a third-party medical provider” and the breach was discovered Oct. 19, 2021.
