France's data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertés, released its priority control themes for 2024. The CNIL will focus on data collection in the context of the upcoming Olympics and Paralympics in Paris, the collection of minors' personal data online, loyalty programs and dematerialized receipts, and right of access issues for data subjects.
